Campus and Community Outreach is Topic of Free Lecture Tuesday, April 7

Leslee NelsonHANCOCK, MI - Leslee Nelson, professor and director of outreach programs at University of Wisconsin-Madison, will present a free community lecture Tuesday, April 7, 2011, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Finlandia University Finnish American Heritage Center.

Refreshments will be served.

Nelson's talk, "Campus and Community Outreach - Valuing Creativity: Art and the Public Sphere," will focus on the use of creativity to support business and community, including how to develop campus outreach programs, identify resources to reach a wider market, and create entrepreneurship opportunities for students.

The free lecture is sponsored by the Finlandia University Campus Enrichment Committee.
