Finlandia Student Writing Group to Host Reception Tuesday, April 24

HANCOCK, MI - "The Bureau of Visible Thought," a new student writing group at Finlandia University, will host a reception on Tuesday, April 24, at 3:00 p.m., in the Campus Ministry Center.

The reception will celebrate both the writing group's inception and their publication of an online site for student writing.

Mark Lounibus, assistant professor of English and the club's advisor, says "The Bureau of Visible Thought" is an all-inclusive writing group for Finlandia students who wish to share their passion for writing and editing with others.

"We aim to give young authors and poets the opportunity to network, learn editing techniques, and in general share their works and get them out for the public eye to see," says the group's student leader, Max Malone of Iron Mountain.

"All are welcome to join us at the reception for food, drink and, perhaps, a little literary buzz," says Lounibus.

The Campus Ministry Center is located in the lower level of the Chapel of St. Matthew, Hancock.
