"Hidden Artists of Finlandia" at Reflection Gallery in October

Hidden Artists of Finlandia PosterHANCOCK, MI - The Finlandia University Reflection Gallery, Hancock, will host "Hidden Artists of Finlandia," from October 3 to October 31, 2013.

An opening reception for the exhibit will be held at the gallery on Thursday, October 3, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.

This exhibit showcases the artwork of Finlandia University faculty and students who are not part of the university's International School of Art & Design (ISAD).

"With this show, the Reflection Gallery is looking to tap into the talent pool housed outside of Finlandia's International School of Art & Design," says visiting artist Phillip Faulkner, the faculty advisor for the student-run gallery. "We are welcoming works in all mediums and genres in an effort to showcase the hidden talents within our institution, while offering a venue for those who do not normally pursue exhibition opportunities."

The Reflection Gallery is located on the second level of Finlandia's Jutila Center campus, 200 Michigan Street, Hancock, MI 49930.
