Finlandia University Gallery Announces Extended Fall and Winter Hours

HANCOCK, MI - The Finlandia University Gallery, located in the Finnish American Heritage Center, Hancock, announces evening and Saturday hours of operation.

Starting immediately, and through the month of April 2012, the gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as well as on Thursday evenings until 7:00 p.m., and on Saturday afternoons from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Featured at the gallery starting September 22 is an exhibit of fiber art sculptures titled "Explorations: The Flexible Linear Element" by artists Tracy Krumm and Carol Lambert.

An opening reception for the artists takes place at the gallery Thursday, September 22, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

The Finlandia University Gallery is located in the Finnish American Heritage Center at 435 Quincy St., Hancock.
