Yes! You have earned your degree, and nothing will take that away. Finlandia University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), which provides validity to the education you have received here. Your transcripts will show your courses, grades, and GPA and degree earned.
You may still request a copy of your transcript through PARCHMENT.
Finlandia is finalizing an agreement with Michigan Technological University (Houghton, MI) to serve as Finlandia University’s custodian of records, which will take over transcript issuance at the appropriate time. Further instructions will be added when this transition occurs.
Potential employers will be able to use the same Parchment link for the time being, and will be able to request transcripts from the custodian of records in the future.
Please download this Diploma Request Form (PDF) and return it to the Registrar’s Office to order additional or replacement diplomas. Once the records are transferred to the custodian noted above, new processes will be communicated.
