The Finlandia University Food Service Department has estaolished this gUide to assist you in planning your event. We have listed menu suggestions for various occasions, along with pricing for those menus and other special services. Our main focus is serving ollr student population on campus, but we will make every effort to accommodate your event!
Step 1. Menu Selection
At least 10 days before your event, contact the Director of Food Service to obtain a Food Service Request Form. Menu options and approximate pricing are listed in this brrochure. After completing the form, submit to the Director of Food Service, who will return a copy of the contract for your files. A late fee will be added to the final bill for requests made with fewer than 10 days advance notice.
Step 2. Guarantee the Reservation
Within five days of your event, contact the Director of Food Service with a final count of guests expected at your event.
Step 3. Payment
Estimated prices for goods and services are listed in this guide. These prices are dependent on other factors as well, such as location and delivery. For institutional on-campus events, costs will be billed to your department and processed through the Business Office. For private, off-campus requests, you will be billed within one week of the event, and payment will be due within 30 days. You will be billed for 95% of your final guest count or the actual number served, whichever is greater.
