Academic Success Coach
Department: Academic Success & Student Life
Position Summary: The Academic Success Coach supports students through coordinating and implementing a variety of academic support programs, including but not limited to individualized and small group learning activities, intrusive advising, and monitoring academic progress. The Academic Success Coach is responsible for arranging services and providing accommodations to eligible students with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, and all other related rules, regulations and guidelines. The Academic Success Coach will oversee The Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC), coordinate the hiring and training of student tutors, and manage TLC events and activities. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to student success, along with a strong commitment to promoting student engagement in the broader university community.
Strength & Conditioning Coordinator
Position Summary: The Strength & Conditioning Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of a successful intercollegiate athletic program. The Strength & Conditioning Coordinator is expected to work as a team-player with primary responsibilities of coordinating all aspects of the Strength & Conditioning program, and Strength and Conditioning Center. The Strength & Conditioning Coordinator should foster student personal growth and development as well athletic achievement. The Strength & Conditioning Coordinator is viewed as a mentor within the athletic department.
Position Summary: Monitor prospect contacts to ensure positive and purposeful prospect and donor relations. Manage relationships with prospective donors; identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward alumnae and friends of Finlandia University. Focus on securing support for the Finlandia Fund; assess and qualify prospective donors with larger gifting potential for referral to the Vice President for Advancement & Enrollment.
Advancement Activities Coordinator
Position Summary: Promote participation and good-will between Finlandia University, the Alumni and community. Coordinate and oversee the operations of the annual phonathon and other fundraising and alumni events.
Strength & Conditioning Center Attendant
Position Summary: The Paavo Nurmi strength & conditioning center attendant will oversee, monitor and supervise all Finlandia Paavo Nurmi strength & conditioning center activities. The strength & conditioning center attendant is responsible for strength & conditioning center rule enforcement, proper conduct of strength & conditioning center users, sales of memberships, and assist in cleaning and maintenance of equipment.

Position Summary: Provide administrative and supervisory skill in the management of the Registrar's Office. Responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the Registrar's Office, including the maintenance of academic records of applicants and students. Under general direction assists with ordering and distributing report and grade information, and assist faculty advisors and students with class schedules.
Head Coach Women’s Softball
Position Summary: The Head Coach is responsible for the development and implementation of a successful intercollegiate women’s softball program by fulfilling specific job responsibilities in the intercollegiate athletic department. The Head Coach is expected to work as a team-player with primary responsibilities of coordinating all aspects of our women’s softball program and adhering to all NCAA rules for the sport of softball. The Head Coach should foster student personal growth and development as well academic and athletic achievement.
