More than bricks and mortar.

More than bricks and mortar.

Central to the vision for the Finlandia Athletic Complex is that facilities are available to the community at large. Working together with the City of Hancock and Hancock Public Schools, we want to establish a bestinclass community resource capable of delivering to Copper Country residents a full range of athletic and recreational programming.

Collegiate-level recreational facilities.

At McAfee Field, the Hancock Bulldogs varsity and junior varsity football teams, Portage Lake Little League, Copper Country Junior Soccer, and other user groups will enjoy top-notch facilities not typically available to public school and community sports programs.

A pleasant and comfortable venue.

For parents, family members, and all spectators, the Finlandia Athletic Complex will be a comfortable and modern athletics venue. Features include ample parking and event seating, handicappedaccessible facilities and restrooms, great viewing sightlines, an attractive concession area, and rentable and programmable spaces.
