Finlandia University campus welcomes dermatologist, Dr. Milton Soderberg and staff to campus on Saturday, May 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Finnish American Heritage Center.
Soderberg will be working with Hannah Wilson, PA-C, and Jordan Brooks, MD as well as the Finlandia student nurses to conduct free screenings for skin cancer.

Finlandia University’s Student Nurses’ Association is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, April 17 from 3 to 7 p.m. in front of Finlandia Hall. No pre-registration is required and all blood types are being accepted.
The blood drive is being put on in conjunction with the Upper Peninsula Regional Blood Center. Donated blood helps save lives throughout the U.P. There is currently a critical need for A-negative and O-negative.

Academic families is a tradition where junior level students “adopt” freshman and transfer students to help guide them through the first year of the educational program.
