Two U.P. students win 2017 Brule Scholarship

$20,000 scholarship for art students earned by local students

Aspiring artists from around the Midwest gathered on Finlandia University’s campus last spring for the annual Brule Scholarship portfolio competition, and when it was all said and done two students from the Upper Peninsula stood out and earned the $20,000 scholarships.

Alumni push leads to record video views and $1,500 in donations

A social media push by International School of Art & Design (ISAD) alums in July ended with more than $1,500 in donations or pledges, 16,000 video views and more than 500 video shares.

“I am so impressed and pleased at the dedication of the ISAD alumni,” said Denise Vandeville, dean of the school. “I applaud their determination to help us share the distinct experience that is an education at Finlandia University’s International School of Art & Design.”

Finlandia University introduces new platform for online learning

Schoology brings innovative options including mobile app

With the new school year comes a new online platform for Finlandia University. The university is moving its online courses and online resources used in traditional courses, to Schoology, a state-of-the-art learning management system.

ISAD graduate Hayley Laban honored as top 50 graphic designer under 30

More than 100 honored on Spring 2017 Dean’s and Honors Lists
