Matt Benolkin, a 2017 graduate of Finlandia’s International School of Business, was recognized by Cargill as the 2020 Sales Professional of the Year. Benolkin earned the award because of his consistent effort which increased new sales by $1.1 million in 2020. Finlandia staff member, Nata Borgen, and international business student, Santeri Seppinen, were recently featured as subjects of two short videos on Finns living in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The videos are promotional pieces for Finnzone and are part of Finnzone’s strategy for attracting Finnish companies to the Keweenaw. The videos were produced by Kristin Ojaniemi and sponsored by the Finnish American Chamber of Commerce Upper Michigan.
