Schoology brings innovative options including mobile app
With the new school year comes a new online platform for Finlandia University. The university is moving its online courses and online resources used in traditional courses, to Schoology, a state-of-the-art learning management system.

All students are asked to go online to Empower to confirm their schedule prior to the start of the semester. Some students may notice that courses have changed times, locations, and/or days. If you have any questions when reviewing your schedule, please contact your academic advisor.

Finlandia University’s Registrar’s Office has partnered with Parchment to streamline its transcript request services.
“The new service for requesting transcripts provides more options to our alum when requesting their Finlandia University academic history,” Registrar Jason Sullivan said. “This new process not only allows for transcripts to be delivered electronically, or through the traditional postal manner, it will also allow for the person doing the request to receive email updates in regard to the processing of their transcripts.
Registration for fall and summer classes starts this week, including opening on Monday for students with 60+ credits completed and today (Tuesday) for students with 30+ credits. Your first step is to see your academic advisor to get your PIN. This will allow you to sign up for classes online. In addition, you will need to clear any holds that may be on your account (billing, financial aid, admissions, etc.).
