She credits the easy application process [...]

When Small Really is Beautiful

When you hear a sentiment echoed across levels, across leadership and across campus, you start to pay attention. At Finlandia, we are hearing the echoing voice of Joshua Kim saying, “2018 will be the year that small is beautiful in higher ed.”

But what we are missing from this article is that the portion about small schools, highlights their resilience. If there’s one thing that FinnU has… it’s sisu.

We pride ourselves on the relationships that the Faculty and [...]

How Finlandia turns Finals into the Finale

Finals are stressful. It’s a fact that college students have come to know and loathe. Finlandia aims to do finals differently.

We start, with Late Night Breakfast & Tutoring. Students are encouraged to come hang out in the Café, get some breakfast, and get some studying done. All food for the event is prepared and served by staff. This breakfast is well attended, free and fun for everyone involved.

Best thing about Finlandia. ??? https://t.co/B3ds8Jizpp
