Alternative Spring Break meeting scheduled for Feb. 1

Students interested in taking part in Finlandia University Campus Ministry’s Alternative Spring Break are invited to attend an information session on Wednesday, February 1 at 4:30 p.m. in the basement of the Chapel of St. Matthew.

The event will feature dates, times and what to expect during the trip to Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp in Iron River, Michigan. If you have any questions prior to the session, please reach out to Campus Pastor Soren Schmidt.

Soup and Art Auction fundraiser set for Saturday

Young Women’s Caucus for Art raising money for conference

The Young Women’s Caucus for Art at Finlandia University is hosting its annual Soup and Art Auction fundraiser Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Finnish American Heritage Center.

The fundraising event includes all-you-can-eat homemade made soup, including a couple unique Finnish recipes that are usually a big hit with the crowd. Live music, an art auction and a dessert bar will also be included. Money raised will be used to [...]

Study abroad scholarship through CCSA now available

The Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA) is accepting applications through February 24, 2017 for the $1,000 CCSA Story Teller Scholarship. The Storyteller Scholarship encourages student participation in CCSA programs by offering a means for students to tell their own CCSA stories.
